2026 Spark Grant Opportunity!

The SPARK Grant is back —and this year it’s bigger than ever. Finalists will pitch their ideas live at the first-ever SPARK Tank Challenge for a chance to receive up to $20,000 in funding!
Anyone can submit an idea. Applications open June 15 with a Pitch Preview —from there, selected applicants will be invited to apply for the full grant.

The outdoor exercise equipment by the Beach House downtown was the fantastic idea of a local student at Hudson High School to help create healthy spaces. Not only is this a great outdoor gym with easy access for our community – it’s free to use!

SPARK Grant helped put history on the path.
In 2023, a SPARK Grant helped fund the Lakefront Heritage Project, a series of banners erected along the walking path in Lakefront Park that tell the story of Hudson’s history.
That idea started with a vision for making Hudson better by creating an outdoor, accessible history walk that everyone could enjoy for free – all year round.
